Our aim at St Paul’s is to provide 'The Best Possible
Start in Life '. We offer a secure, nurturing and truly caring
environment for children, whether settling into a new country
or going to school for the first time.
Our last ISI inspection stated:
"British Primary provides a very sound education
for its pupils. It is a secure and supportive environment
for learning and the ethos is good. Relationships with parents
are excellent."

All buildings have outdoor areas, with age-appropriate play
equipment on all-weather safety surfaces. The extensive garden
behind No. 3 includes an enclosed pond and wildlife area in
support of science within the curriculum. We have French and
Music rooms, Libraries and kitchen facilities in both buildings.
We have an IT suite with 16 laptops. We have interactive whiteboards
throughout the school including Nursery.
We follow the UK based “Early Learning Goals"
for Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum for England
and Wales for Key Stages 1 & 2. We include the Literacy
and Numeracy Strategy in our daily teaching. This allows for
a smooth transition between the UK and St Paul’s British
Primary.

who need help with payment of school fees.
Staff
:
The school is staffed with fully qualified teachers who have
trained in the UK. We have specialist French, Music, PE and
library teachers as well as a school nurse. Our staff are
experienced in caring for children coping with relocation.
The school nurse is always available to give advice. She
is aware of children with medical conditions (including allergies)
and is willing to administer medication children may require
whilst at school.
Standards
:
The school broadly follows the National Curriculum for England
& Wales; pupils take end of Key Stage Assessments in Year
2 and Year 6. Pupils achieve excellent results. In 2002 the
school was inspected by the UK Independent Schools Inspectorate,
achieving the status of 'A Very Good School'.
