(Fee Schedule for 2008/09)

St Paul’s British Primary School fees are competitive compared with other international schools in Brussels. In addition we have a Bursary Scheme to assist those families who need help with school fees (for example, families who do not receive subsidies from their employer)

Age Ranges:

Nursery classes - for children between 3 years and 4 years
Primary classes - for children between 4 years and 11 years

Application Fee:

Non-refundable, payable once per child €650 for the first child from a family, €550 for the second child and € 450 for each subsequent child, payable at the time of submission of application.

Tuition Fees:

These cover all normal tuition costs, including books, materials, and residential journeys. The annual fees are payable for the whole school year and are due by July 1st, or within 30 days of the invoice.

Late payment will incur interest and administration charges as follows:

0.5% interest per month is charged on payments outstanding beyond 30 days.
0.75% interest per month is charged on all payments outstanding beyond 90 day
There is a €20 admin charge for each Late Fee letter.
These letters are normally sent monthly.

Bus Service Fees:

Bus Service Fees will be invoiced, at the start of each term. Fees are charged on a cost recovery basis, and are € 3,750 for the whole year and €1,875 for one way only.

Special Needs and Optional Activities such as individual English as an Additional Language lessons, speech and other therapies, private music lessons, after school activities, are charged separately.

We anticipate that all fees quoted above will remain fixed for the school year, but reserve the right to revise fees before the start of any term, should this become necessary.

Parents are responsible for payment of the total sums due, regardless of any subsidies provided by their employer.

Withdrawal during the school year :

Notice of withdrawal must be given in writing to the school. Refunds will only be given if this written notification of withdrawal has been received by:

  • 30 September for withdrawal at the end of the Autumn Term
  • 31 January for withdrawal at the end of the Spring Term
  • 30 April for withdrawal at the end of the Summer Term

If the notice of withdrawal has not been received by the above dates, parents will be invoiced for a full academic term’s fees in lieu of a term’s notice of withdrawal.

Monthly or Termly Payment Schedules

Monthly and termly payment schedules can be arranged for parents paying their own fees and is at the discretion of the school bursar. These will incur an administration cost of €10 per payment.

For monthly schedules:
10 monthly payments of 10% of annual fees by the 1st July to 1st April inclusive

For termly payments:
40% annual fees by 1st July
30% annual fees by 1st November
30% annual fees by 1st March

Bursary Scheme:

Criteria for granting a Bursary are strictly financial. The Scheme is administered by the Management Team (Headteacher, Bursar and Admissions Director) under complete confidentiality and their decision is final. To apply for a Bursary please write to the Headteacher.
